The Success SHIFT

Jul 27, 2022

One benefit of the pandemic is that the employment population in general has had an awakening and they're returning to work with a new sense of empowerment. They're no longer willing to put up with toxic bosses.

And, you know, there's a phrase among HR people that says people join companies but they quit bosses.

Unfortunately, there’s a long tradition of promoting someone for their results as a team member, and continuing to promote them higher, despite never having had formal leadership training.

And many are just not nice to work for.

So, many people are taking the leap and joining the Great Resignation movement.

The challenge is that they can be trapped into managing their business rather than leading their business.

They feel blocked if they can’t move from Founder to CEO of their business.

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Doug to our Faculty of the Stress to Success S.H.I.F.T. Institute, as our executive business and leadership expert. After this episode, you’ll see why!
