When you are depressed or are trying to boost your mood what’s something you gravitate towards? We often think of doing something we enjoy, like meditating or going to see a movie with a friend. But what about having an orgasm?
In today’s episode, I sit down with Hannah Sanford who is a former microbiologist who set out on a journey to explore her divine womanhood. What started as a self-healing journey turned into a passion to explore the science behind and lifestyle of daily orgasms.
In our conversation, we talk about social norms and why it’s important to break out of the taboo when it comes to women’s sexuality. From an early age, many of us are told what is right and wrong and what is acceptable and we learn that pleasure is not something for us to experience. But as Hannah states, “pleasure is our right”.
We also know that this is a journey that can take time to get comfortable with, and like any meditative practice, it needs to be done daily, so we talk about how to explore things that make you comfortable and put you at ease to get the most enjoyment out of your solo or partnered sessions.
