Many people may be unable to heal from their trauma, believing that their suffering is unique. While it’s unlikely that we’ve all suffered every version of adversity, Jessie has definitely had more than her share. So, she understands what others have gone through who’ve experienced or witnessed sexual abuse, murder, suicide, physical abuse, depression, financial hardship, emotional abuse, and more. The truth often seems stranger than fiction, and Jessie’s story may seem more dramatic than a soap opera’s!
I want to acknowledge Jessie's courage in sharing her story and the importance of vulnerability in healing. Jessie’s story highlights how vulnerability – even when it doesn't feel like strength in the moment – can lead to transformation and inspire others.
